Deep Alternative Futures by Diane Hau Yu Wong
As part of the 8th edition of Montréal Monochrome, curator and art historian Diane Wong presents Deep Alternative Futures.
Deep Alternative Futures is a video presentation by Diane Wong, inspired by her research on Afrofuturism, which rejects the Eurocentric notion of a single future and the assumed linear temporalities at the center of mainstream apocalyptic visions and offer up alternative and pluralistic world in the form of Afrofuturism.
