articule is delighted to welcome the exhibition Wetlands by artist Fenyx Florentiny, opening on Friday, March 20, 2026.This project explores a queer and decolonial genealogy based on sensory narratives linked to the territories traversed between Martinique and Quebec. These are not mere geographical settings but sensitive territories that shape gender as much as they are shaped by it. Between these two shores circulates a porous memory, an identity in transit.
Through an immersive and evolving installation combining sound, text, bioplastics, organic objects, and images, the artist offers a living laboratorium where poetry, guided meditation, and aquatic narratives intertwine. The exhibition invites visitors to engage in a physical and collective experience, where they become an integral part of a changing queer ecosystem.
As the installation suggests, the space will undergo several transformative changes, which will be an opportunity for the artist to meet with the public. We will announce details of upcoming activities shortly, but we invite you to save the dates of March 26 and April 4, 9, and 16, 2026!
Call for Proposals — Members’ Show — living room
Call for Proposals open to articule members until April 21, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
The Members’ Show will take place from May 29 to June 20, 2026.
The install will happen between May 25th to May 29th.
articule is inviting our membership to turn the gallery space into a living room with all that that entails - a space for socializing, a space to collect our things, a space where life happens! We want the gallery space to become a container for activities, a place filled with the traces of our engagement.
Crumbs on the carpet, the stain from a cup of tea on the coffee table, a forgotten scarf. Curious about engaging members’ practices that don’t hang properly on the wall. We are inviting members to submit work that might fit into one of three categories :
— Works that adorn & occupy the space;
— Works that interact with articule's local streetscape and reach out beyond the gallery;
— Works that enliven & activate the space leaving behind a trace a memory of themselves.

Statement In Solidarity : articule
The articule team recently had a discussion about the active involvement of its center in terms of engagement in social justice. As a center that has a mandate to be constantly engaged, we want to share the various injustices affecting the multiple communities that make up our ecosystem. With this in mind, we have decided to create a living document where everyone can share links of support and action.
