Call for Applications: Exhibition Residency for Indigenous Curator

The artist-run centers daphne and articule are launching a call for applications for a paid curatorial residency. This residency is for a First Nations, Métis or Inuit curator.

The curatorial project will be part of the programming of the two artist-run centers in 2023. There will be budgeted fees for the curator and fees up to five artist/s they curate into an exhibition. The two Artist-run centres are working together to offer two spaces - one space will be an incubator or ideation space and the other will become the work-in-progress space and ultimately the exhibition space.

daphne and articule will accept applications from curators outside of Tiohtià:ke (Montreal). Please send us your application in writing or by video to programmation@articule.org, no later than November 18 at 11:59 pm.

If selected, the candidate must be available from May 1, 2023. Dates and duration to be determined according to the nature of the project.

articule has a Basis of Unity, a list of anti-oppressive values that accompanies its mandate. We ask all candidates to read it when submitting their application.
