Members’ Show — Call for Proposals

Deadline to submit: May 26, 2025 at 11:59 PM

Exhibition: June 6 to June 28, 2025

Montage: June 2 to June 6, 2025

As we slowly (re)emerge from winter hibernation, the staff at articule and Members Committee have been dreaming about what potential worlds we want to (re)emerge into. Therefore, we are thrilled to invite you to submit a proposal to the 2025 Members’ Exhibition: reworlding

The title, reworlding, came about from a discussion around what we need, individually, collectively, environmentally and socially, right now. During uncertain and turbulent times, art helps us (re)imagine, hope, and dream about alternative (possible) worlds that may be hard to imagine otherwise. This theme: reworlding, building off of the term rewilding, which refers to the restoration of natural ecosystems and allowing wildlife to flourish in areas no longer under human management [1], invites members, both individually and collectively, to submit works that explore a (re)imagining of the world we all inhabit. This is an opportunity to entertain the “what-ifs” and share potential alternative futures yet to be realized. We invite members to submit proposals that respond to this open-to-interpretation theme in a wide range of artistic mediums and expressions.
