Rah Eleh & Skawennati in Conversation

In English
Online on our Facebook Live

articule is pleased to present artists Rah Eleh and Skawennati in conversation on September 26th at 3pm EST. The artists will discuss their digital and performative video works with an emphasis on character development and design. By questioning the inspiration and development of their respective characters, the two artists will highlight several aspects of understanding the implementation of their virtual environments. Passing through the physiognomy of the characters, their gestures, their postures but also their interactions with the public and the barrier of the fourth wall, Rah Eleh and Skawennati lead us to reflect on aesthetics and the medium as a political discourse.

The virtual talk will be in english and will be live-streamed to articule's Facebook page. The conversation will also be available on articule's Facebook and Vimeo after the program.
This ancillary programme coincides with Rah Eleh's solo exhibition SuperNova which will be presented at articule from September 25 to October 25, 2020.

*Please note that the gallery will be closed on September 26th from 3:00pm to 4:30pm for a recording. Regular hours will resume immediately after 4:30 pm.
