articule gallery

summer window projects

articule artist-run centre invites local artists and collectives to submit proposals for its summer window programming. This initiative is aimed at engaging pedestrians with the use of the gallery's storefront window, and accompanying interior and/or exterior spaces, during the gallery's closed period.

Once set up, the project must be autonomous and run independent of any staff supervision for the duration of the exhibition. Prior to sending a proposal, we strongly recommend that you consult our mandate, floorplan and gallery images.

Admissible expenses are: costs related to promotion and presentation, openings, rental of space and equipment; and in some cases, contributions towards artist fees and production costs.
