The programming in the gallery presents a selection of challenging and thoughtful exhibitions from engaging contemporary artists. These presentations are complemented with other activities such as artist talks and publications that provide accessible forums for exchange.
The Special Projects' programming has a flexible structure and responds quickly to needs and issues as they arise. It functions as an avenue for diverse practices and event-based activities. The goal of this program is to build new alliances in the community and to support independently produced initiatives, often off-site, (e.g.: public interventions, performances, workshops, public talks, etc.).
The Board of Directors initiates or approves a major Curatorial Project each year. Our objective is to reinforce or complement the regular program of exhibitions, and address the overall goals of the centre in an ongoing dialogue about social and aesthetic issues.
